This block houses various offices of authorities including president office, registrar office, Central Library and Exam Cell. The U shaped building accommodates centres of excellence- Centre for Design Excellence (CODE) block, Vivekananda Building Science Centre (VBSC) and Global Centre for Entrepreneurship and Commerce (GCEC) on one side; while the other flange of the U houses departments of Agriculture, Science, Law, Management & Commerce.
The 2.25 lakhs sq. ft. building area divided into four floors facilitates 40+ labs & 30+ stepped lecture theatres for regular academic proceedings. Supplementing the research and development requirements of these domains this building has Incubation & Innovation Centre and Advanced Research Labs of all the courses. To further support the academic activities the building also has computer labs, exhibition halls, moot court & seminar Hall with a capacity of 70-80 ppl, utilized to conduct interdisciplinary activities of the university.
This building faces the central library block with a lush green lawn in the centre giving a scenic view to the campus and central, safe activity space for all student activities.
The all-day-long working student welfare departments like Placement cell, the office of Faculty In-charge Hostels & International Student cell also function from this block. A state of art auditorium with a capacity of approx. 550 students, Mitsubishi Industrial Robotics Center, seminar hall for accommodating 70-80 students & Engineering and Technology library makes this the most sought-after building of the campus.
The building boasts of heavy machinery labs related to civil, mechanical & electrical engineering education, with one of the best facilities in the state. The open-air theater with a capacity to house approx. 3000 students located to the west of the block is used for the conduction of annual student events. The advanced mechanized aggro-tech labs, aloe vera farms, poly house & hydroponics center flank the east and south side of the block giving it an interesting, ever-changing green foreground year long.
Matching with the green and sustainable practices, the university campus has a facility for a sewerage treatment plant, RO drinking water points, solid waste management system, and separate parking facilities for 2 and 4 wheeler. Around 30 percent of the total campus area is covered with lush green lawns & plantations covering more than 8000 plants & tree species, thus giving pure oxygen to our students and making campus a treat to the eyes.
