ITPI Institute Of Town Planner India

The Institute of Town Planners, India, owes its origin to a small group of Town Planners of Delhi, who in 1947 decided to set up a professional Town Planning Institute on the lines similar to the Royal Town Planning Institute, London. The number of planners, which then did not exceed six, was too small for a registered society to be set up and therefore, the small group formed itself into an Indian Board of Town Planners and started working towards establishing a professional Institute. The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), is known for its cutting edge research & development knowledge base in diverse science & technology areas, is a contemporary R&D organization. The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, a branch of the GoI, is the apex executive body for the formulation and administration of rules, regulations and laws relating to micro, small and medium enterprises in India.

Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is a Ministry of GoI and is responsible to coordinate all skill development efforts across the country. Industrial training, apprenticeship and other skill development responsibilities were transferred from the Ministry of Labour and Employment to this ministry. It aims to remove disconnect between demand and supply of skilled manpower, to build new skills and innovative thinking.


Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) is GoI’s flagship initiative to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the country. AIM’s objective is to develop new programmes and policies for fostering innovation in different sectors of the economy, provide platform and collaboration opportunities for different stakeholders, create awareness and create an umbrella structure to oversee innovation ecosystem of the country.

VGU is one of Bosch’s Response to India’s Development and Growth through Employability Enhancement (BRIDGE) centres. BRIDGE is a pioneering Bosch CSR programme that helps fulfilling the growing need for skilled manpower across sectors in India.


The Indian Space Research Organisation is the national space agency of the Republic of India. It is the primary agency in India to perform tasks related to space based applications, space exploration and development of related technologies.

Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology

The Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology is a unit of Department of Atomic Energy, GoI, engaged in Research & Development in non-nuclear front-line research areas of lasers, particle accelerators and related technologies.

Inter-University Accelerator Centre was setup by the UGC as the first Inter-University Centre in India. Its main objective is to provide front ranking accelerator based research facilities to create possibilities for internationally competitive research within the university system in the country.

Central Scientific Instruments Organisation is a constituent unit of CSIR. It is a premier national laboratory dedicated to research, design and development of scientific and industrial instruments. It is a multi-disciplinary and multi-dimensional apex industrial research & development organisation in the country to stimulate growth of Instrument Industry in India covering wide range and applications.
Skill Development Centres


The Rajasthan state government, in order to address the challenges of unemployment and ensuring gainful and sustainable employment to the youth, created Rajasthan Mission on Livelihood was formed in 2004. It was later remade as Rajasthan Skill & Livelihoods Development Corporation in 2010 with an aim to promote skill development as a vehicle for enhancing employability of the working population.

National Skill Development Corporation

National Skill Development Corporation is a non-profit organization set up by the Ministry of Finance, GoI. It aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions. It promotes skill development by providing funding to enterprises, companies and organizations that provide skill training.
