Eligibility and Fee Details

Eligibility – Eligibility for B.Tech Lateral Entry The candidate must have passed diploma examination from an AICTE approved institute in the appropriate branch of engineering and technology. He/she must have scored 45 per cent marks in the examination or equivalent to it. For reserved category candidates there might be a relaxation of five per cent depending on the institute, they are required to score 40 per cent.
If the candidate does not have a Diploma or passed the diploma examination in the appropriate branch of engineering and technology , then he/she is required to have completed a bachelor degree of science in Physics, Chemistry and Maths from a recognized university as per the University Grants Commission. The candidate must have scored at least 45 per cent marks, relaxation of five per cent is provided to candidates of reserved categories.

The candidates of reservedcategories are required to score minimum 40 percent of aggregate marks
including the physics, chemistry and mathematics. Candidates are required to pass 12th with aggregate or equivalent 60 per cent marks including subjects Physics-Chemistry-Maths, Physics-Maths-Biology or
Mathematics-Chemistry-Biology
