About Faculty of Architecture & Planning – VGU

Faculty of Architecture & Planning VGU is affiliated by Council of Architecture (COA) and University Grants Commission (UGC). The main vision of the center is to provide deep knowledge not only in theory but also from the practical experiences covering aspects of the past, the present as well as the future perception of the profession.

Why CODE ?

CODE is a dynamic forum for exchanging ideas, methods and professional experience. Our students and faculty combine curiosity, experimentation and enthusiasm in the pursuit of learning. At CODE, we believe that finding a design solution, creating a work of art and facilitating the production of a creative team are intellectual processes of undeniable value. Developing critical awareness through hands-on research and discussion is essential to professional maturation and individual growth. Design Practice demands a high level of personal commitment and discipline, and we expect our students to participate actively in class so that they can explore differing points of view and engage our creative resources.

Architecture & Planning comes out to be a promising career option in India. One can have a look at all the compelling points and become the part of the one’s own reassuring career journey.
Be it building roads or bridges, approving plans for metro stations or passing bills for subways, all the jobs look for the architecture & planning teams. Thus, without any doubt, it tells us about the government career scopes of doing a degree in Architecture & planning.

She has been consultant to Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project (RUIDP) for 12 years (2002-2014) for design, detailing and execution of various projects in Heritage sector in Amber & Jaipur and other parts of the state. During this period she was involved in restoring city gates, city walls, kunds, Temples.
