VGU’s campus spans 33 acres in Jagatpura, Jaipur, Rajasthan, offering a vibrant learning environment. The campus provides a wide range of facilities to ensure the holistic well-being of students and a comfortable stay for hostel residents.

Catering and Hospitality Facilities

The university features a spacious, on-campus Students’ Mess with six dining spaces spread across two floors, accommodating over 7,000 meals daily. With a seating capacity of approximately 1,500, the Students’ Mess serves students, faculty, and staff through multiple food counters. Fresh meals are prepared daily, offering a variety of cuisines selected in consultation with the Students’ Mess Committee. Additionally, the Mess plays a pivotal role in planning and catering to food and beverage requirements for various on-campus events. Team Students’ Mess at VGU is dedicated to providing every VGUite with a diverse and fulfilling culinary experience. The mess timings are as follows: -

Canteen and Timings

The canteen is a popular spot for students to unwind and relax with friends while enjoying high-quality, delicious food. With a seating capacity of approximately 200, it offers a wide range of food options, including bakery items and fast food, all prepared to perfection and served with great courtesy. The canteen operates daily, providing meals at nominal rates in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The regular operating hours are from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM. However, during exam days, it remains open until 12:00 AM.

Coffee Shop

Coffee shops provide the perfect setting for casual interactions and a refreshing break. The university features a well-equipped coffee shop offering a variety of modern-day refreshments. With affordable, student-friendly pricing and a strong emphasis on hygiene, the coffee shop ensures a delightful experience. This facility is available to students from morning until evening, making it a convenient spot to relax and recharge.

Auditorium

The auditorium, located on the 2nd floor of the Technology Block, boasts a seating capacity of approximately 565. It serves as a venue for a wide range of events, including national and international conferences, special lectures, concerts, performances, and key university ceremonies such as annual student inductions and inaugurations.

Gymnasium

Maintaining good physical health is crucial for meeting academic demands effectively. At VGU, we recognize the importance of balance, and our students deserve the opportunity to recharge and stay fit. To support their well-being, we offer a state-of-the-art, 5,000 sq. ft. indoor gymnasium on campus, equipped with modern fitness facilities. The gym is open every morning and evening, ensuring students have the flexibility to prioritize their fitness at their convenience.

Other Facilities

The provision store, offering general items, is open seven days a week from 07:30 AM to 6:00 PM. It also provides printing and photocopying services for a fee.


A book and stationery shop is open on all weekdays.


Transportation facilities are provided to off-campus hostel students to access the Students' Mess during meal times, particularly in inclement weather.


Students have access to drinking water coolers with RO filtration, 24/7 electricity with backup power, water supply, and Wi-Fi connectivity in each hostel.


CCTV cameras are installed at the entrances of all hostels, along corridors on all floors, and in the campus foyer for enhanced security.

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found Desk is located at the reception on the ground floor of all three blocks - Academic, Technology, and Administrative - as well as in all hostels. Any unattended items found should be deposited at these desks. Owners can reclaim their belongings upon proper authentication. Valuable items are kept for 30 days, while non-valuable items are retained for 10 days.

Housekeeping in Boys and Girls Hostels

Students are required to dispose the trash into the central dustbin placed on respective floors of the hostel. Cleaning of each washroom is executed by the housekeeping staff on a regular basis as per predefined schedule pasted behind the washroom door. Students’ rooms are cleaned by housekeeping staff in the presence of the student on requirement basis. Zo Scholar App, the request app for all the services on campus has to be downloaded on the mobile sets. Weekly requests for cleaning have to be routed through this app only. Laundry Services

A centralized laundry service is available for hostellers, operating on a fixed collection and return schedule set by the laundry vendor. The rate card for these services can be obtained from the warden.

ATM

An ATM machine is available on campus, located near Gate No. 2.

Cloakroom Facility

A complimentary cloakroom facility is available for hostellers to securely store their personal belongings during semester breaks or vacations. Students can coordinate with the Hostel Warden to reserve space for a specified duration, ensuring the safety of their baggage.

Mailroom

The mailroom facility for receiving all mails, including couriers, is located at the reception desk on the ground floor of the Technology Block. The service is available from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on all working days. The university shall not be deemed responsible if any courier is not collected within 48 hours.
