VGU has a Medical Aid Centre located in the Students’ Mess Complex, providing free consultation and medical assistance to students, faculty, and staff. The centre is staffed by a qualified and experienced doctor, who holds OPD hours as per the prescribed schedule. Additionally, the Faculty of Medical Sciences provides first-aid facilities, along with Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy outpatient services. The campus also features eye check-up and blood testing facilities for the convenience of the university community.
The campus is equipped with a 24/7 ambulance to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies requiring hospitalization. In such cases, the incident is promptly reported to the concerned authorities by the faculty member or hostel warden. Typically, the faculty member or hostel warden accompanies the student during admission and discharge to the nearest hospital or nursing home.
Staff members of VGU and their dependents, including spouses, children, and parents, are eligible for special discounts on OPD and IPD services at our empanelled hospitals viz. Eternal Hospital, Jaipur and Eternal Hospital, Sanganer.
