BIO

Girish Kumar Mathur, Retired Additional Director Dr. G.K. Mathur brings over 35 years of experience in forensic science, notably serving as Additional Director of Serology and DNA at the State Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) of Rajasthan. His expertise includes pioneering the establishment of DNA labs, extensive lecturing on forensic science and medical jurisprudence, and currently, as a Professor of Practice at Vivekananda Global University, he focuses on imparting practical forensic knowledge to students, with recent contributions to establishing a DNA lab for research and teaching purposes.

    • Invited as Guest Faculty for ‘Refresher Courses for Lectures’ of Law College, University of Rajasthan. Lectures on Forensic Science and Medical Jurisprudence were delivered.
    • Inaugurated National workshop on “Hands on Training on Advances in Biotechnology" organized by Manipal University, Jaipur in year 2015, and delivered Expert Lecture and hands-on session on Forensics and the tools and techniques used in Forensic Science with case studies
