FOREIGN EXCHANGE PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS

Travelling international and experiencing the vivid curricula across geographies can be a transformative experience . Cultural diversities form the edifice of a modern-day world citizen, and the embracing of varied languages , arts , music and history make the mind and heart rich and receptive to positive insinuations .

With this larger concept in view , VGU in partnership with AIESEC launched its student foreign exchange program in 2023. The program is an immersive 6-week program wherein students from countries around the globe converge at the VGU campus and spend a pulsating time together rich with cultural experiences , academic exchanges, guest lectures , field tours , fests, conclaves and travel. A rare opportunity for the students to unite from all over the world and celebrate the Indian culture from all the states with the students in VGU campus. 100+ students have enrolled themselves with us and have witnessed a unique thriving career through this program.

RESEARCH & PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES

Research and publication opportunities under the undermentioned departments are available. Each student will be assigned a research guide who is usually an eminent faculty member with profound experience.

Departments involved are:
Computer Science, Management, Centre of Design Excellence, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering.

FIELD VISITS & EXPERIENCES

Students are exposed to a variety of multidisciplinary visits which involves to small scale industries, MSMEs, hotels and hospitality sectors, historic sites. These experiential endeavours enhance the real world learning experience which we try to innoculate amongst the students.

Please apply on the following link: www.aiesec.org. Each application will be processed om its merit by the VGU Selection Committee. Since the number of positions are limited priority will be given to the applicants who are eligible and on the first cum first serve basis.

I recently completed an internship at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, in Digital Marketing. I wanted to share some other remarkable aspects of the experience at VGU that left a lasting impact on me. One of the highlights was the industrial visits we participated in. We had the opportunity to visit a block printing manufacturing unit, where I observed the intricate craftsmanship and attention to detail involved in this traditional Indian art form. We also toured a blue pottery industrial site, which provided a deeper understanding of another unique aspect of India’s cultural heritage. These visits not only expanded my knowledge of Indian manufacturing but also reinforced the importance of preserving these age-old traditions within a modern economy.
A particularly rewarding part of the internship was my interaction with university students. Their insights offered a "glocal" perspective—combining global outlooks with local Indian nuances—on the market and economy. This exchange helped me better understand how India maintains a dynamic position within the global economy while preserving its distinct cultural identity. In addition, I had the privilege of participating in an inter-collegiate business fest, where I took part in the Brand Race competition. Working with a team, we secured first place, which was a thrilling and rewarding achievement. This competition allowed me to apply my marketing skills in a practical setting, gaining hands-on experience in brand strategy within a competitive environment. The mentorship provided by the faculty of VGU was instrumental in making this internship so enriching.
Overall, this experience at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur was a perfect blend of professional development, cultural immersion, and meaningful connections.

The internship at Vivekananda Global University was nothing short of transformative. From day one, I knew this experience would be special. Beyond the learning, the university offered deep cultural immersion. We had opportunities to present our own cultures and learn about the rich traditions of Indian students. This thoughtful effort by the university added a unique dimension to the internship, making it a truly enriching experience. The most rewarding part of the internship was the friendships I built. Working alongside participants from different countries not only broadened my perspectives but also forged lifelong bonds. These connections made the experience even more meaningful.
Looking back, this internship was much more than just learning digital skills. It was about personal growth, cultural exchange, and forming a global community. I would highly recommend the internship to anyone looking for an experience that combines professional development with meaningful connections.
