BIO

Dr. Jagdish Kumar Arun is currently working as Professor and HoD-Department of Pharmacy, Vivekananda Global University, Rajasthan. He received his M. Pharm. and Ph. D degree in the discipline of Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Jamia Hamdard New Delhi. He has received several awards as such GATE Scholarship in M.Pharm. and UGC-JRF and SRF during Ph.D. He started his academic career at Rajasthan Health University (2007-2009) and then moved to Adesh University Bathinda, Punjab (2015-2017) as an associate professor. Later, shifted to Jaipur National University Rajasthan as Professor (2017-2022). Dr. Arun has published more than sixteen research and review papers in national and international reputed journals and one patent to his credit.

  • Synthetic medicinal chemist and pharmaceutical analyst. Primarily focusing on design and synthesis of small bioactive heterocyclic molecules with special emphasis on development of novel antidepressant, antianxiety, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory compounds.
