Co-curricular Excellence Scholarship

VGU recognises distinction in activities beyond academics — sports, theatre, dance, performing arts, NCC and NSS. Any candidate who has a distinction in such activities from a recognised authority is eligible.

Any student who holds a qualification degree from VGU and is a member of the VGU alumni association.

Scholarship Renewal Conditions

All VGU scholarships are automatically renewed each year — provided the following conditions are met every semester.

All scholarships will be applied in the even semester only.

NON Refundable Category

Maximum offer in scholarship will come under the NON Refundable category.

Minimum 6 SGPA

All scholarship will be continued only if the student gets minimum 6 SGPA in each semester.

No Attendance Shortage

Scholarship will be applicable only in one condition — if any student gets detained because of shortage of attendance in any subject, their scholarship will be revoked.

Indian Students Only

All scholarships are only for Indian Students and applicable only on Academic fee.

Student can avail any one category of the above listed applicable scholarship only.

How to Apply for Scholarship

Scholarships at VGU are automatically assessed at the time of admission — no separate application needed for most categories.

At admission, submit documents relevant to your category: mark sheets, student enrolment, employee ID card, achievement certificate, etc.

Scholarship Assessment

The admission committee assesses all eligible categories and applies the highest applicable scholarship on your tuition fee automatically.

Your admission letter will clearly state the scholarship category and percentage awarded — valid for the full program duration subject to renewal conditions.

Scholarship is credited in the even semester every year. Maintain 6 SGPA and attend all classes regularly for automatic renewal throughout your program.
