Moot Court

VGU Ranka Moot Court Competition

The VGU Ranka Moot Court Competition is an annual flagship event organized by the Moot Court Society of Vivekananda Global University. The competition provides law students with practical exposure to courtroom procedures through simulated legal proceedings. Participants present arguments, conduct legal research, and demonstrate advocacy skills before a panel of judges, academicians, and legal professionals. This event strengthens students’ legal research, drafting, analytical thinking, and oral advocacy skills, while promoting professionalism and healthy competition. The Ranka Moot Court Competition plays an important role in bridging the gap between theoretical legal education and real courtroom practice.

Negotiation Competition

VGU R.K.Rastogi Memorial Negotiation Competition

The ADR Cell of the Department of Law, VGU fosters excellence in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration. Its flagship VGU R.K. Rastogi Memorial Negotiation Competition is held annually at the national level. The event is regularly inaugurated by Hon’ble Judges of the Supreme Court of India and Chief Justices of High Courts. Through this prestigious platform, the ADR Cell nurtures future-ready professionals in alternative dispute resolution.
