Login and complete your academic profile — 10th and 12th details, subjects, board name, percentage/CGPA. Select your program of interest and preferred specialization.

Choose Your Exam Date

Select an exam date and time slot from the available calendar. VGUCET is conducted in online mode from home using a webcam-proctored platform. Slots available April–June 2026. Early phases have higher scholarship potential.

Appear in VGUCET

The exam is 60 minutes long — covering English Proficiency, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. No negative marking. Admit card emailed 3 days before the exam.

Loan Disbursement to VGU

Migration Policy — Transferring to VGU from Another University

Students currently enrolled at other universities can transfer to VGU under Lateral Entry or University Transfer — subject to eligibility and seat availability.

Student must have cleared all examinations of semesters studied without any backlogs

✓

Minimum CGPA of 6.0 (or equivalent percentage) in all semesters cleared at the previous university

✓

The program at the previous university must be equivalent and recognized by UGC / AICTE / relevant council

✓

No disciplinary action or pending dues at the previous institution

✓

Migration possible only up to 4th semester for a 4-year program and 2nd semester for a 2-year program

Fee Refund Policy — Transparent & UGC Compliant

VGU follows the UGC Guidelines on Fee Refund (2018) strictly. Students who withdraw their admission within the specified time periods are entitled to refunds as per the schedule below.

Refund Process

Submit Written Application

Submit a written withdrawal / cancellation request to the VGU Admission Office — in person or via email to admissions@vgu.ac.in with your enrollment number and bank details.

Document Verification

Submit original documents received at the time of admission — ID card, fee receipts, allotment letter and any other university-issued documents for verification.

Refund Processing

Refund is processed within 15 working days of approval directly to the source account via NEFT/RTGS.

Important: Hostel fee is refunded separately as per hostel withdrawal policy. Mess advance (if paid) is refundable on a pro-rata basis. Registration / admission processing fee of ₹5,000 is non-refundable in all cases.
