I recently completed an internship at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, in Digital Marketing. I wanted to share some other remarkable aspects of the experience at VGU that left a lasting impact on me.
One of the highlights was the industrial visits we participated in. We had the opportunity to visit a block printing manufacturing unit, where I observed the intricate craftsmanship and attention to detail involved in this traditional Indian art form. We also toured a blue pottery industrial site, which provided a deeper understanding of another unique aspect of India's cultural heritage.
A particularly rewarding part of the internship was my interaction with university students. Their insights offered a "glocal" perspective — combining global outlooks with local Indian nuances — on the market and economy. This exchange helped me better understand how India maintains a dynamic position within the global economy while preserving its distinct cultural identity.
In addition, I had the privilege of participating in an inter-collegiate business fest, where I took part in the Brand Race competition. Working with a team, we secured first place, which was a thrilling and rewarding achievement.
The mentorship provided by the faculty of VGU was instrumental in making this internship so enriching. Overall, this experience at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur was a perfect blend of professional development, cultural immersion, and meaningful connections.
