12th Board Marks Scholarship

Even without an entrance exam score, high 12th board marks can earn you a merit scholarship at VGU.

Students who have scored 90% or more aggregate marks in 12th standard from any recognised board are eligible for 15% scholarship on annual tuition fee.

80% – 89%

Students scoring between 80%–89% aggregate in 12th board examinations are eligible for a 10% fee concession on annual tuition fees.

Interview-Based Scholarship

Students who perform well in an interview conducted by respective department heads may be awarded a scholarship based on aptitude, potential, and departmental assessment.

Candidates who complete registration or provisional admission on-the-spot at the campus counselling session are eligible for a special spot scholarship — applicable only on the same day.

Scholarship Renewal Conditions

All VGU scholarships are automatically renewed each year — provided the following conditions are met every semester.

Minimum 6 SGPA

Maintain a minimum 6 SGPA in every semester. Falling below this threshold will result in scholarship suspension for the following semester.

No Attendance Shortage

Scholarship is immediately revoked if a student is detained in any subject due to shortage of attendance. Maintain 75%+ attendance in all courses.

No Backlogs

No "E", "F", or "I" (Incomplete) grades in any subject in any semester. Scholarship continues only for students clearing all subjects in the first attempt.

No Disciplinary Action

No active disciplinary cases or pending dues at the time of scholarship renewal. Students under academic probation are not eligible for renewal.

Scholarships Applied in Even Semester Only

All VGU scholarships are credited and applied in the even semester (December installment) of each academic year. The maximum scholarship offer falls under the non-refundable category. Ensure renewal conditions are met before the end of the preceding odd semester.

Scholarships at VGU are automatically assessed at the time of admission — no separate application needed for most categories.

The admission committee assesses all eligible categories and applies the highest applicable scholarship on your tuition fee automatically.
