Dr. Gautam Kumar Sinha is a Ph.D. in Economics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) with more than 11 years of post-doctoral experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. His doctoral research focused on financial inclusion through microfinance in rural India, highlighting issues of poverty alleviation and inclusive growth.
He has served as Assistant Professor at reputed universities including Amity University Jaipur, Sharda University Greater Noida, Lovely Professional University, and Raffles University, teaching UG, PG, and MBA programmes. He has also worked as a Research Associate and Field Coordinator at NCAER, New Delhi, gaining strong expertise in data analysis and field-based research.
Dr. Sinha has held several important administrative responsibilities, including Head of Department (Liberal Arts), NAAC Committee Member, IQAC/VAC Coordinator, and Sports Coordinator, contributing significantly to academic governance and quality assurance.
His research interests include Development Economics, Microfinance, Financial Inclusion, Poverty, Gender Studies, and Econometrics. He has published extensively in UGC Journal, Web of Science, ABDC-listed journals, and contributed a Routledge book chapter. He has also presented research papers at numerous national and international conferences.
Dr. Sinha is SET qualified, a former UGC Research Fellow, and is proficient in SPSS and statistical analysis tools. His teaching interests cover Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Econometrics.
