Bio

Dr Umema Ahmed, with a PhD in Environmental and Molecular Microbiology, has led the department since 2019, overseeing its remarkable growth from a small cohort to a substantial body of students. Prior to this, she served as Vice Principal at Ahangran Girls College, Ghat Gate. Her exceptional leadership earned her the "Best Woman Faculty" award and “Best Faculty” award 2025, Vivekananda Global University. Under her guidance, the department flourished, receiving accolades such as the "Best Department" and "Best Innovation" awards. Dr Ahmed stands as a beacon of effective leadership, driving excellence in education and research.
