Bio

Dr. Maneesh Jaiswal is working as Professor, Department of Pharmacy at VG University. He received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from IIT, Delhi in association with AIIMS and DRDO, Delhi in 2012. After which he worked at various academic, research and administrative positions.

He has multidisciplinary exposure, gained through collaborative research in premier institutions like IIT Delhi, AIIMS, Delhi University, and DRDO, Delhi.

Along with long 16 plus years of academic experience, he have leadership experience as Research Head at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Medical University (Deemed University), Vadodara, Gujarat (2016-2020) and as Head of the Centre of Excellence at HIMT Group of Institutes, Greater Noida (2023-25). he has successfully guided multidisciplinary teams across Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Biotechnology, Computer Science (IT), Law, MBA and related departments to achieve measurable improvements in research output, curriculum innovation, and academic quality. He combines strategic vision with hands-on program management — developing new and upskilling courses, implementing quality assurance processes, mentoring faculty and students, and building cross-disciplinary research initiatives.

His interests area are Biomaterials for drug delivery, nanomedicines, wound healing and tissue regeneration.
