Bio

Dr. S.R. Bhunia has had a distinguished academic career, marked by numerous accolades and achievements. He was a recipient of the National Scholarship at both the Higher Secondary and Graduation levels, as well as the University Merit Scholarship during his postgraduate studies. Additionally, he was awarded the Senior Research Fellowship during his doctoral studies.

With an extensive 32 years of experience in teaching and research, Dr. Bhunia has made significant contributions to academia. He has successfully led six research projects as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI), funded by esteemed institutions. His scholarly work includes the publication of more than six university-level books and 78 research articles in national and international journals.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Bhunia has mentored and guided 20 postgraduate students and four doctoral candidates. Recognizing his academic excellence, the Belgian Government awarded him a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Ghent, Brussels.
