Bio

Dr. Jagdish Kumar Arun is currently working as a Professor in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science & Nursing, Department of Pharmacy, Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan. He obtained his M.Pharm. and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. During his academic journey, he has received several prestigious recognitions, including the GATE Scholarship during his M.Pharm., UGC–JRF and SRF fellowships during his Ph.D., and an International Travel Grant from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi, to attend the Discovery Chemistry Congress held in Munich, Germany.

Dr. Arun began his academic career at Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (2007–2009). He later served as an Associate Professor at Adesh University, Bathinda, Punjab (2015–2017) and subsequently joined Jaipur National University, Rajasthan as a Professor (2017–2022). He has published more than 18 research and review papers in reputed national and international journals. In addition, he holds two patents and has authored one book. Apart from that, Dr. Arun is an active member of several professional bodies and holds life memberships of the Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association (IPGA), the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), and the Society of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER). He is also the recipient of the “Shikshak Ratan Samman 2025”, awarded by the Government of India–recognized Balika Shiksha Prachar Samiti, Jaipur, Rajasthan, in recognition of his contributions to education and academic excellence.
