Bio

Rama Choudhary is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. With a strong academic background and extensive teaching experience, she specialises in media studies, film studies, digital media, and communication research. Her academic interests include cinema and national identity, fan culture, misinformation, digital advertising, and emerging media technologies. She has qualified the UGC-NET examination, demonstrating her academic proficiency and research aptitude. Her research work includes publications indexed in Scopus, and she has actively contributed to the academic community through research papers, conference presentations, and scholarly publications at national and international levels.

She is also a co-editor of the book The Future of Media: AI, Gender and Critical Literacy (ISBN: 978-93-47587-16-0, Bhumi Publishing, 2026), reflecting her engagement with contemporary issues in media and critical discourse. Additionally, she is actively involved in curriculum development, research writing, and student-centric academic initiatives.
